Job Description

  • Design and develop electrical systems and components for industrial applications.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during installation and commissioning phases.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of designs, processes, and test results.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve designs and processes for efficiency and performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Electrical Design Engineer should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Experience in Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) design is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with simulation and calculation tools such as Simplis/Simetrix, Mathcad; familiarity with PLECS or PSIM is a plus.
  • Strong research and development background, with knowledge of SMPS topologies and failure analysis.
  • Exposure to liquid‑cooled or low‑profile conduction‑cooled design environments is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multi‑cultural, multi‑disciplinary team.
  • Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and commitment to continuous learning.
