The Employee Relations Manager will provide end-to-end HR support for a defined employee population within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for employee relations, labour compliance, HR programme execution, and partnering with leaders to support business and workforce objectives.

Job Description

    • Act as the primary HR partner for employees, supervisors, and managers on HR policies, procedures, and people-related matters.
    • Manage employee relations cases, investigations, disciplinary actions, documentation, and resolution recommendations in accordance with labour regulations and company policies.
    • Support core HR processes including onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, workforce support, and separation processes.
    • Partner with operational leaders to address performance, conduct, attendance, and workforce planning requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, internal policies, audits, inspections, and statutory requirements.
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR system data while preparing workforce reports and metrics.
    • Collaborate with specialist HR teams including Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, and other HR functions.
    • Contribute to initiatives that enhance employee experience, engagement, retention, and organisational effectiveness.



The Successful Applicant

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong employee relations and labour law expertise.
  • Experience independently supporting a sizeable employee population.
  • Proven ability to manage investigations, disciplinary processes, and workplace compliance matters.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work onsite in a manufacturing location.
  • Experience supporting multiple departments or business units.
  • Exposure to HRIS platforms and workforce analytics reporting.
  • Experience partnering with regional or global HR teams.
  • Background in employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
  • Professional HR certification or postgraduate HR studies.
