As a key member of the leadership team, the Finance Director will act as the trusted finance partner to the General Manager, with significant influence over financial and operational performance. The role encompasses end-to-end responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, compliance, audits, financial reporting, and driving strategic business decisions.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee and manage the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting and finance team to achieve departmental objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Director should have:

  • Professional experience 5-10 years, with relevant functional experience
  • Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to operational management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels including team management skills
  • Extensive experience in finance processes, financial models, and financial planning
  • High communication, negotiation and project management skills
