Our client is a fast‑growing fintech SME lender operating in the Philippine market, headquartered in Makati. The business is recognised for its relationship‑driven approach to lending and for supporting small and medium enterprises with tailored financing solutions where traditional banks fall short.

Job Description

As the Finance Manager, you will:

  • Lead month‑end close and financial reporting, targeting WD+10 sign‑off
  • Own loan accounting and reconciliations between the Loan Management System and Xero
  • Manage Expected Credit Loss (ECL) provisioning under PFRS 9
  • Oversee Philippine BIR tax compliance, including Percentage Tax and DST
  • Build management reports, dashboards, and portfolio analytics
  • Lead and develop a small accounting team in Makati

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Finance Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required or in progress
  • 5-8 years of finance or accounting experience, ideally in lending or financial services
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Xero and loan accounting
  • Proven experience filing Philippine BIR tax returns (EWT, FWT, Percentage Tax, DST)
  • Highly detail‑oriented, confident investigating and resolving variances
