The client is a global leader in the healthcare and life sciences industry with an established shared service center in Taguig.

Job Description

  • Lead and execute the operations strategy for Controllership, General Ledger, Management Accounting, and Product Costing, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement, innovation, data integrity, and cost efficiency.
  • Build transparent, KPI-driven performance management and improve service delivery quality.
  • Optimize organizational structures, governance, and decision-making processes.
  • Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities across end-to-end operations.
  • Develop a high-performing talent pipeline through upskilling, knowledge sharing, and SME development.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and strong stakeholder partnerships.

The Successful Applicant

  • Completed a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  • Must be a CPA or have other relevant certifications (CMA, CFA, etc.)
  • 8+ years of Finance Operations experience, including Month-End Close, General Ledger, Product Costing, and Management Accounting.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience, managing teams and driving performance.
  • 5+ years of experience in Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Services environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting and Finance processes with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and business-focused with strong risk management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and time management skills.
