Job Description

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes.
  • Manage and optimise employee performance and development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
  • Lead and manage employee relations, addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace.
  • Drive organisational change and culture-building initiatives.
  • Develop and manage the HR budget effectively.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR functions with organisational needs.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Human Resources should have:

  • A solid understanding of HR management principles and practices.
  • Proven experience in leading HR functions in the retail industry (pharma retail is a plus)
  • Knowledge of labour laws and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in organisational change and culture development.
