The Head of Special Accounts will take full ownership of collections, restructuring, and delinquency management in Makati City. This role is highly autonomous, reporting directly to the CEO and driving recovery strategies across the portfolio. As the Head of Special Accounts, you will lead borrower engagement, legal coordination, and portfolio risk management, shaping how the function evolves over time.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities (Head of Special Accounts)

  • Lead collections strategy, borrower engagement, and delinquency resolution
  • Manage restructuring and remediation plans for distressed accounts
  • Coordinate closely with legal counsel on escalations and compliance
  • Monitor watchlist accounts and proactively prevent deterioration
  • Oversee write-offs and ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Report directly to leadership on portfolio health and recovery outcomes

The Successful Applicant

What It Takes to Succeed

  • 5+ years' experience in special assets, collections, or restructuring
  • Strong background in banking, SME lending, fintech, or legal recovery
  • Ability to operate independently
  • Proven track record managing distressed accounts and recovery strategies
  • Commercial mindset with strong decision-making and stakeholder skills
  • Legal or compliance exposure is a strong advantage
