Job Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supplier Relationship Managers supporting direct and indirect procurement categories.
  • Ensure consistent execution of sourcing strategies and supplier management processes across the organization.
  • Oversee supplier onboarding, performance management, and lifecycle governance to drive business objectives.
  • Monitor supplier performance through scorecards, KPIs, and corrective action plans to ensure quality, delivery, cost, and compliance targets are met.
  • Provide guidance and escalation support for complex supplier, commercial, and performance-related issues.
  • Ensure contract compliance, procurement policy adherence, risk management, and audit readiness across the team.
  • Collaborate with category managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with organizational priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement, process standardization, system adoption, and automation initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant

  • Significant procurement and sourcing experience within a multinational or global organization, with exposure to both direct and indirect spend categories.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing procurement or supplier management teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and supplier relationship management expertise, with a track record of delivering measurable value.
  • Experience leading sourcing events and RFPs, along with contract management, risk mitigation, and procurement governance activities.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with proficiency in procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba, and related analytics tools.
