Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a centralized scheduling team, driving performance, collaboration, problem-solving, and employee development.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service through proactive communication and stakeholder management.
  • Oversee workforce schedules within staffing systems, ensuring optimal coverage, skill mix, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage schedule balancing, posting, and ongoing maintenance to support daily staffing requirements.
  • Monitor staffing trends and forecasted demand, proactively escalating recruitment needs.
  • Oversee premium pay, critical shift incentives, reporting, and compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Serve as the escalation point for scheduling inquiries, shared mailbox requests, and new hire communications.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and process guidance for scheduling operations.
  • Track team performance against KPIs and generate reports to support operational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor regulations, collective bargaining agreements, and workforce management best practices.



The Successful Applicant

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience using staffing/scheduling software in a 24/7 healthcare environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a lead, supervisory, or team management role.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.



Preferred Qualifications

  • UKG Workforce Management experience.
  • UKG Certification
