Job Description

  • Conduct IT risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Develop and implement effective IT risk controls and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of implemented risk controls.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address IT risk-related issues.
  • Support the development of IT risk awareness programs.
  • Assist in preparing audit responses and documentation for IT risk-related matters.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in IT risk management processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful IT Risk Control Officer should have:

  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of IT risk management frameworks and standards.
  • Experience in the financial services industry or similar regulated sectors.
  • Proficiency in assessing IT systems and identifying potential risks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
