Job Description

  • Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable analytics solutions and data models.
  • Design and maintain dimensional models, data marts, curated datasets, and semantic layers to support reporting, analytics, and AI initiatives.
  • Define and enforce Analytics Engineering standards for data modeling, documentation, testing, governance, and deployment.
  • Build and optimize data transformations and pipelines using modern cloud-based technologies.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and compliance through robust validation and monitoring frameworks.
  • Develop reusable modeling patterns, automation capabilities, and CI/CD practices to improve efficiency and maintainability.
  • Support data governance initiatives through documentation, lineage tracking, metadata management, and stewardship practices.
  • Collaborate closely with data platform, engineering, product, and business teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Contribute to hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and capability development within the team.



The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Business Intelligence environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse, or similar technologies.
  • Advanced SQL expertise and a strong understanding of modern ELT and data transformation practices.
  • Experience using dbt for data modeling, transformation, testing, and documentation.
  • Deep understanding of dimensional modeling, data marts, fact and dimension design, and analytics-ready data structures.
  • Experience implementing data quality, governance, and engineering best practices.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and driving technical standards across teams.
  • Exposure to customer, loyalty, digital, retail, hospitality, gaming, or consumer-facing analytics environments will be advantageous.
  • Python or other data engineering programming experience is highly desirable.
