Job Description

  • Build and maintain data models that provide clear, trusted datasets for analytics and reporting.
  • Develop analytics datasets that help teams access consistent business information.
  • Improve data structures to support accurate reporting and analysis across the business.
  • Define practical standards for analytics engineering work and reusable data assets.
  • Review data outputs to help maintain consistency and usability for end users.
  • Work with Analytics colleagues to understand reporting needs and translate them into data solutions.
  • Document data models and key definitions so users can understand available information.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify analytics workflows and improve the use of business data.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Lead Analytics Engineer should have:

  • Experience building and maintaining data models for analytics and reporting.
  • Strong capability in designing datasets that are clear, reliable and easy to use.
  • Knowledge of analytics engineering practices and data transformation approaches.
  • Ability to translate reporting needs into practical data solutions.
  • Experience improving data structures and maintaining consistent data definitions.
  • Confidence reviewing analytics outputs and resolving data quality issues.
