The Maintenance Manager will lead all plant maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment uptime, efficiency, and operational continuity in a high-volume cable manufacturing facility. This role plays a crucial part in driving reliability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence while supporting expansion and modernisation initiatives.

Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing industrial manufacturing organisation specialising in high-performance production systems within the automotive supply chain.

Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end maintenance operations, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programmes
  • Drive key performance metrics such as OEE, MTBF, and MTTR to improve equipment reliability and plant efficiency
  • Oversee maintenance and optimisation of critical equipment, including wire drawing, stranding/bunching, and extrusion systems
  • Manage troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) to minimise downtime and recurring issues
  • Champion Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Plan and execute equipment installation, commissioning, and ramp-up for new production lines
  • Manage CMMS platforms, maintenance planning, and spare parts inventory strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, OEMs, and vendors to ensure smooth operations and technical upgrades

The Successful Applicant

Non-Negotiables:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
  • Minimum 5-10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience within cable manufacturing (mandatory)
  • Strong technical expertise in extrusion systems, wire drawing, and stranding/bunching machinery
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing maintenance teams in a high-volume plant
  • Will be based in Lima, Batangas City



Good-to-Haves:

  • Experience with E-Beam systems
  • Strong background in TPM implementation
  • Hands-on experience with CMMS systems and reliability engineering tools
  • Exposure to plant expansion, automation, or modernisation projects
