The Successful Applicant

A successful Mid-Level Software Engineer should have:

    • Strong backend engineer with 3+ years of experience building scalable, production-grade software systems.
    • Expert in Go (Golang) or Java, with solid knowledge of software engineering principles, architecture, and design patterns.
    • Proven experience designing and developing microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.
    • Hands-on expertise with PostgreSQL, Redis, and database optimization, including concurrency and persistence layer design.
    • Strong experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing and distributed systems.
    • Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud environments, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and observability.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, perform code reviews, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Analytical problem solver who takes ownership of security, incident management, and delivering high-quality engineering outcomes.
