Job Description

We are looking for a Model Development Manager to spearhead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models across key business domains. You will work with a team of data scientists and collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable AI solutions.Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement machine learning models for predictive analytics, optimization, and automation.
  • Guide the team in applying statistical modeling, deep learning, and NLP techniques.
  • Ensure model quality, performance, and compliance with governance standards.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and MLOps teams to operationalize models in production.
  • Translate business problems into data science solutions with measurable impact.
  • Mentor junior data scientists and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Model Development Manager should have:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or AI model development.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Proven track record of delivering production-grade models and working with large datasets.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and ML lifecycle tools is a plus.
  • Leadership experience in managing data science teams or cross-functional projects is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strategic mindset.
