Job Description

  • Manage and oversee daily plant operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity in the manufacturing process.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations within the plant.
  • Supervise and mentor the engineering and manufacturing team to achieve operational goals.
  • Monitor and manage plant budgets, ensuring cost-effective production practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production challenges and implement solutions.
  • Analyze production data and generate reports for management review and decision-making.
  • Maintain and optimize equipment to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Plant Head should have:

  • A degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in the industrial and manufacturing sector.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing plant operations and teams.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
