The Senior Actuarial Manager will partner with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic insights, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive profitable product growth.

Job Description

As the Actuarial Manager, you will:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance actuarial pricing models for new and existing products.
  • Conduct profitability analysis, sensitivity testing, and product risk assessments.
  • Support product development from concept through launch and ongoing management.
  • Lead reviews of portfolio performance and recommend product repricing strategies where appropriate.
  • Manage reinsurance structures and optimise reinsurance arrangements.
  • Oversee experience studies, valuation activities, and key financial reporting outputs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support commercial and strategic decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Actuarial manager should have:

  • Previous experience working in actuarial pricing, valuation, or product management within life insurance.
  • Strong technical expertise in actuarial analysis, modelling, and life insurance product development.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work across diverse teams and business functions.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in emerging technologies.
  • Professional actuarial qualifications or progress towards recognised actuarial credentials is preferred.
