Job Description

Job Responsibilities of the Senior Fund Accountant

  • Prepare low to medium complexity Net Asset Value (NAV) packages
  • Coordinate with investment managers, brokers, custodians, and auditors
  • Manage fund data including setups, closures, and terminations
  • Handle fee processing, billing entries, and client invoicing
  • Analyze data to support monthly revenue accrual reporting
  • Prepare management reports including KPIs, AR, and profitability
  • Ensure accuracy in transaction processing and reporting deliverables
  • Collaborate with global teams for timely and efficient operations

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Fund Accountant should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
  • Years of experience in financial services or fund accounting
  • Exposure to hedge funds or private equity is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills for global stakeholder management
  • High attention to detail in handling financial data and reporting
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial data analysis
  • Knowledge of Advent Geneva or similar systems is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a hybrid setup
