The company is a privately held Independent Power Producer (IPP) and distributed energy service provider founded in 2015. The company specializes in developing, financing, building, owning, and operating renewable hybrid microgrids.

Job Description

  • Design, build, and maintain cloud-based data platforms and infrastructure.
  • Develop and optimise ETL pipelines that move data from source systems into enterprise data warehouses.
  • Manage data integration processes to ensure accurate, reliable, and scalable data delivery.
  • Support cloud environments, with a strong focus on AWS and exposure to Azure platforms.
  • Configure monitoring, alerting, business rules, and operational data processes.
  • Ensure platform reliability, security, backup, recovery, and performance optimisation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external technology partners on platform initiatives.
  • Support cloud migration, modernisation, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing platform support.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and best practices.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong experience in data engineering, ETL development, and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Proven track record building and maintaining enterprise-scale data pipelines.
  • Hands-on AWS experience, ideally within large or complex data environments.
  • Exposure to Azure technologies is advantageous.
  • Strong SQL, data modelling, and data warehousing expertise.
  • Experience with Python, APIs, and modern integration technologies.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and operate effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
