Job Description

  • Provide legal counsel on corporate and regulatory matters to support business operations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
  • Manage legal risks by developing and implementing compliance strategies.
  • Advise on dispute resolution and manage external counsel as needed.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations relevant to the organisation.
  • Conduct legal training for internal stakeholders to ensure awareness of legal obligations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives while adhering to legal standards.
  • Handle other legal tasks as required by the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sr Legal Counsel should have:

  • 10+ years of experience practicing law.
  • Extensive knowledge of corporate and regulatory laws within the government, inhouse, and law firm practice.
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in managing legal risks and implementing compliance strategies.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
