The Sr Regional Engineer, Robotics will provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for robotics solutions across Southeast Asia, working closely with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. This role combines installation support, troubleshooting, customer engagement, and business development activities while supporting robotics expansion across multiple markets.

Job Description

  • Provide pre-sales technical support for robotics solutions and automation projects.
  • Support customers and business partners throughout the sales and implementation process.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution discussions.
  • Provide post-sales support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Assist with robotics installation, commissioning, and system integration activities.
  • Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with distributors, partners, and end users across the region.
  • Support project execution and ensure successful deployment of robotics solutions.
  • Conduct site visits and provide field-based technical assistance.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and regional teams to drive business growth.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and service updates.
  • Stay current on robotics, automation, and industry trends.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sr Regional Engineer, Robotics should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in robotics, automation, technical support, field service, or industrial engineering.
  • Experience within electronics manufacturing, industrial automation, or robotics environments preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting customers in a technical or field-based capacity.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to customers and business partners.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel across Southeast Asia.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with robotics installation, maintenance, or system integration is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical reporting.
