Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Valuations Director are:



    • Lead and manage complex valuation engagements across businesses, intangible assets, and financial instruments, supporting M&A, financial reporting, tax, restructuring, litigation, and broader advisory requirements.


    • Provide technical leadership in the development, review, and validation of sophisticated valuation and financial models, ensuring the robustness of methodologies, assumptions, and forecasts.


    • Ensure adherence to applicable valuation standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality control frameworks while delivering high-quality client outcomes.


    • Drive business growth through client relationship management, proposal development, sector-focused strategies, and collaboration with partners, stakeholders, and onshore teams to enhance integration and business outcomes.


    • Mentor and develop team members by providing coaching, performance guidance, and technical oversight, while representing the firm in industry initiatives and contributing to thought leadership activities.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Valuations Director applicant should have:



    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline, complemented by a professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA, FRM) or progress toward obtaining one.


    • Over 5 years of valuation experience within a professional services or accounting environment, with demonstrated involvement in complex and high-profile engagements.


    • Strong technical expertise in business and intangible asset valuation, including advanced financial modelling and the application of key valuation methodologies such as DCF, market multiples, and option pricing; experience in financial instruments and real estate valuation is an advantage.


    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and report-writing skills, with the ability to translate complex valuation concepts into practical commercial insights and recommendations.


    • Proven leadership and project management capabilities, coupled with strong business development skills, relationship-building abilities, and the capacity to work independently while fostering collaboration in a dynamic team environment.
