Job Description

  • Develop and execute investment strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend investment opportunities in the sector
  • Lead financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis activities
  • Oversee due diligence, risk assessment, and deal execution processes
  • Monitor market, regulatory, and competitive developments
  • Partner with senior leaders to align investments with strategic priorities
  • Manage and mentor investment team members for high performance
  • Present investment proposals and recommendations to executive leadership and boards

The Successful Applicant

A successful VP Investments should have:

  • A strong background in Banking & Financial Services, with a focus on investments.
  • Proven expertise in the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
  • Excellent strategic planning and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in financial modeling and investment analysis.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A professional qualification in finance, business, or a related field.
