Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Director is responsible for the following:

  • Lead and manage the accounts receivable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise cash flow and collection processes.
  • Monitor and review credit policies to minimise risks and enhance financial efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
  • Prepare and present financial reports related to accounts receivable performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Supervise, guide, and train the accounts receivable team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Drive process improvements and system enhancements for better operational efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Receivable Director should have:

  • A strong background in accounting and finance, particularly within the retail industry.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing financial operations and teams.
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and financial reporting.
  • Ability to analyse and improve financial workflows and systems.
