Join a leading ports and logistics organization operating some of the country's most critical trade gateways. We are seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to support crane maintenance and reliability operations within a highly specialized port environment.

Job Description

This role is ideal for licensed engineers with leadership experience in heavy equipment maintenance, port operations, shipyards, mining, power generation, steel, or manufacturing industries. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, improving maintenance processes, and leading a team of technicians in a 24/7 operational environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Supervision

  • Supervise maintenance and repair activities for port and crane equipment.
  • Ensure completion of preventive maintenance programs and work orders.
  • Monitor technician performance and compliance with maintenance standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support.
  • Act as shift manager in the absence of sr leadership.
  • Record maintenance activities, equipment breakdowns, and repair details within maintenance systems.



Parts Planning & Management

  • Prepare spare parts requisitions and technical specifications.
  • Support inventory optimization and parts standardization initiatives.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and OEMs to improve parts management processes.



Reliability & Root Cause Analysis

  • Conduct technical investigations on recurring equipment failures and prolonged downtime.
  • Support reliability improvement initiatives and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Identify corrective actions to improve equipment availability and operational efficiency.



Safety & Compliance

  • Promote a strong safety culture across engineering operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security standards.
  • Address safety observations and maintenance-related risks in a timely manner.



The Successful Applicant

Qualifications

  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer or Electrical Engineer.
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience in maintenance and repair of heavy equipment or industrial assets.
  • Background in ports, terminals, shipyards, mining, steel, manufacturing, power generation, or similar industries.
  • Strong troubleshooting, maintenance planning, and root cause analysis capabilities.
  • Willing to work in a shifting operations environment.
