Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the long-term strategy for data platforms, architecture, and engineering practices aligned with organizational priorities
  • Establish enterprise standards for data governance, modelling, transformation, and lifecycle management
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance data platforms and pipelines
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of reliable, accurate, and business-ready data across the organization
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business priorities into data-driven capabilities and solutions
  • Enable advanced analytics, machine learning, and digital products through robust data foundations
  • Build, lead, and mentor high-performing data engineering and platform teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
  • Oversee platform performance, scalability, security, and operational resilience



The Successful Applicant

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred
  • Extensive experience in enterprise data engineering, platform architecture, or related leadership roles
  • Proven track record in building and scaling modern data platforms and transformation frameworks
  • Deep expertise in data modelling, data architecture, and performance optimization
  • Demonstrated success leading large, cross-functional technical teams and complex initiatives
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders
