Job Description

Key Responsibilities of the Facultative Reinsurance Technician:

  • Support facultative placement administration from inception through settlement.
  • Review and process placement documentation, endorsements, and contracts.
  • Coordinate with insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and update operational systems.
  • Assist with premium processing, invoicing, and reconciliation activities.
  • Support claims administration and follow-up on outstanding matters.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

Successful Candidate

  • Insurance industry experience is required.
  • Exposure to facultative reinsurance or reinsurance operations is an advantage.
  • Understanding of insurance policies, underwriting, or claims processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience handling documentation and stakeholder coordination.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
