The client is a growing multinational company known as an emerging leader in the retail industry. They have a growing Finance and Accounting team in the Philippines, driving standardization and efficiency to improve their processes.

Job Description

  • Lead global AP/AR accounting strategy, including team structure and transitions from external firms
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple entities
  • Standardize and improve accounting processes and performance reporting
  • Identify growth and profitability opportunities using financial insights
  • Ensure high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with finance teams to maintain accurate and complete data
  • Develop, mentor, and optimize team structure and capabilities

The Successful Applicant

  • 12+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting with a multinational shared service or captive environment
  • 5+ years of experience leading an team composed of 50+ staff
  • Strategic and inspiring leader with a strong belief in accounting's business impact
  • Adaptive, hands-on, and effective in managing priorities and stakeholders
  • Strong IFRS knowledge and experience with ERP/data projects
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills
  • Entrepreneurial, curious, and solution-oriented mindset
