The Head of Go-to-Market & Trade Channels is responsible for defining and executing the end-to-end commercial strategy across modern and general trade. This role leads RTM transformation, distributor excellence, and channel growth to deliver sustained revenue and market share gains.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market and Route-to-Market strategy aligned with overall business objectives
  • Lead growth and performance across Modern Trade and General Trade channels, ensuring strong market penetration
  • Drive distributor management excellence, including selection, onboarding, performance tracking, and capability development
  • Establish and optimize territory coverage plans, outlet segmentation, and service frequency models
  • Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with key modern trade accounts through joint business planning and negotiations
  • Implement in-market execution standards, merchandising excellence, and customer engagement programs
  • Analyze sales data, shopper insights, and competitive benchmarks to inform commercial strategies and forecasts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, finance, and demand planning for seamless execution
  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing sales and field teams to drive accountability and results
  • Identify opportunities for digital transformation and tools to improve salesforce productivity and distributor visibility

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong leadership experience in a senior commercial or sales leadership position within a highly matrixed organization
  • Proven expertise in RTM strategy design and execution across diverse markets
  • Demonstrated success in distributor management, network optimization, and channel expansion
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, stakeholder management and leadrship capabilities
