This role leads the organization's information security strategy, including architecture, policies, risk management, incident response, and cybersecurity operations across infrastructure, cloud, and network environments. It also manages security tools, vendors, compliance, and a team, while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure strong protection, business continuity, and continuous improvement.

Job Description

  • Lead IT security architecture, policies, and controls across the organization
  • Oversee cybersecurity operations (MSOC), including monitoring, threat detection, and incident response
  • Drive risk assessments, secure design reviews, and compliance across systems and projects
  • Manage security tools, ensuring proper monitoring, patching, and risk identification
  • Lead incident management, investigations, and corrective/preventive actions
  • Oversee identity and access management (IAM), including user access and privilege reviews
  • Manage vendors and service providers, ensuring SLA compliance and quality delivery
  • Support site security operations, including disaster recovery and business continuity
  • Collaborate with business and project teams to align security with organizational needs
  • Manage budgets, reporting, and stakeholder communication for IT security
  • Ensure compliance with policies and standards, and drive continuous improvement and team capability
  • Coach and train IT teams while promoting collaboration, continuous improvement, and strong stakeholder service

The Successful Applicant

Extensive experience: 15+ years in IT, with 8+ years in cybersecurity and 5+ years in leadership rolesSecurity platforms expertise: Proficient in enterprise security tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, SASE, PAM) across server, network, cloud, and OT environmentsCore technical skills:

  • Strong background in IT security across infrastructure, cloud, and networks
  • Hands-on experience with security tools (firewalls, endpoint protection, patching, SIEM)
  • Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) and compliance standards
  • Experience in incident response, risk management, and business continuity
  • Ability to analyze security logs and identify risks



Leadership & behavioral skills:

  • Strong leadership, vendor management, and decision-making capabilities
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management
  • High accountability with focus on problem-solving, compliance, and continuous improvement



Preferred/advantage skills:

  • Experience in shared services or centralized IT environments
  • Industry background in energy, utilities, or industrial sectors
  • Exposure to SCADA, OT, or IoT systems
  • Expertise in cloud security for large-scale or hybrid environments
