Job Description

  • Oversee the legal function, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Provide expert legal advice to support business decisions and operations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
  • Manage litigation and dispute resolution processes.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the business.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to mitigate legal risks.
  • Supervise and mentor the legal team to achieve departmental objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Legal should have:

  • A degree in Law and a valid license to practice law.
  • Extensive expertise in corporate law, compliance, and legal risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
  • Experience in managing litigation and regulatory matters.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
