This role oversees large-scale operations (up to 250 FTEs), drives performance excellence, and positions Finance as a strategic business partner across regions.

The client is a reputable healthcare company with an established Finance shared service team.

Job Description

  • Lead and execute the overall Accounting & Finance Operations strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee end-to-end R2R operations, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and compliant service delivery.
  • Drive performance management using data, ensuring achievement of KPIs, productivity, and service targets.
  • Manage and develop a large organization (up to 250 FTEs), including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Establish strong governance frameworks and optimize organizational structure for effective decision-making.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives across finance operations.
  • Build strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, positioning Finance as a trusted business partner.
  • Develop talent and capabilities through structured learning, upskilling, and knowledge-sharing programs.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, inclusion, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and drive risk management and control effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • CPA certification required.
  • 8+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting Operations (R2R, GL, month-end closing, costing, management accounting) in a Shared Services / Global Business Services environment.
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience managing large teams.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and business acumen.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to drive transformation, manage risk, and deliver results in a complex global environment.
