Job Description

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Oversee procurement processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials.
  • Manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability while minimizing excess.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align supply chain operations with business objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and build long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve supply chain performance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all supply chain activities.
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals for continuous improvement and growth.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Supply Chain Director should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in procurement and supply chain operations within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven leadership skills to manage teams and drive operational excellence.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills for supplier and stakeholder engagement.
  • Analytical capabilities to evaluate data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience in implementing supply chain technologies and tools for process optimization.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in supply chain management.
