The HR Operations Manager serves as the first HR leader on-site, responsible for establishing and managing all HR functions during a plant's ramp-up phase. You will work closely with business leadership to build a strong workforce, implement systems, and ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Job Description

    • Act as the end-to-end HR lead, overseeing all aspects of HR operations on-site
    • Lead and execute strategic HR initiatives aligned with business growth plans
    • Manage personnel administration, payroll, policy implementation, and compliance
    • Take full ownership of talent acquisition, driving large-scale hiring for plant ramp-up
    • Partner closely with operations and leadership to support organizational growth and workforce planning
    • Handle labor relations and employee relations, ensuring a positive and compliant workplace
    • Support the transition and implementation of HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors)
    • Initially operate as an individual contributor, with future responsibility to build and lead an HR team



The Successful Applicant

Non-Negotiables

  • Proven hands-on HR generalist experience with end-to-end ownership
  • Strong talent acquisition experience, ideally supporting ramp-ups or high-volume hiring
  • Solid background in labor relations and Philippine labor laws
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

Good-to-Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing or plant environments
  • Exposure to HR system implementation or transformation projects
  • Prior experience in setting up HR functions or greenfield operations
  • Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS platforms
