Job Description

  • Identifies and evaluates potential customers and new product opportunities; collaborates closely with research and development teams to build business cases for new projects and initiatives, including technical and financial feasibility assessments.
  • Leads the bidding and tendering process by gathering relevant market and cost information, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of tender documentation in coordination with cross‑functional teams such as Finance and Operations, and following up through submission.
  • Participates in commercial negotiations covering pricing, terms, and conditions; supports contract drafting in coordination with the legal function while ensuring a strong understanding of customer business models and requirements.
  • Contributes to the development of local sales strategies based on regional and global market analysis; identifies and prioritizes target markets and executes sales plans by monitoring key market trends and dynamics.
  • Develops customer and product forecasts, tracks their accuracy, and ensures regular updates; communicates forecasts in a timely manner and coordinates with sales and supply teams to support effective planning and cost management.
  • Ensures efficient customer service operations by addressing customer needs and complaints; provides proactive support to quality and logistics teams to enhance customer satisfaction and conducts regular customer visits to identify future opportunities.
  • Prepares, reviews, and communicates sales key performance indicators (KPIs) and defines continuous improvement actions related to processes, procedures, and systems to support business objectives.
  • Ensures compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety standards, as well as adherence to corporate values, codes of conduct, and confidentiality requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • A strong background in sales and account management in the cable industry
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to manage client relationships effectively.
  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Proficiency in analyzing market trends and data to support strategic decision-making.
  • A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
