Job Description

  • Lead and develop teams to deliver operational excellence, achieve performance targets, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Manage workforce planning, capacity, service transitions, and operational processes to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery.
  • Drive process optimisation, automation initiatives, and performance monitoring to improve productivity, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while translating global strategies into actionable team objectives and ensuring compliance with organisational standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful MDM Team Manager should have:

  • Experienced people leader: 7-9 years of experience in shared services (ideally within the logistics or supply chain industry), with 2-4 years managing leaders and teams of approximately 60-80 employees.
  • Operational excellence mindset: Demonstrated success in improving processes, optimising capacity, implementing automation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communicator and stakeholder manager: Able to influence senior stakeholders, collaborate across multiple business functions, and effectively communicate strategic priorities.
  • Analytical and customer-focused: Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and visualisation tools, with the ability to leverage insights to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
