Job Description

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical systems and components for industrial applications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems, parts, and assemblies for industrial applications.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, 3D models, specifications, and mechanical layouts.
  • Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure performance, durability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, manufacturing, QA, projects) to support project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and engineering best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of designs, processes, analyses, and test results.
  • Continuously seek design improvements for efficiency, manufacturability, cost optimization, and performance.

The Successful Applicant

A strong Mechanical Design Engineer should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design, product development, or industrial machinery.
  • Experience with CAD, simulation, and analysis tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS, CREO).
  • Strong background in mechanical systems, thermal analysis, material selection, and failure analysis.
  • Experience in liquid‑cooled, air‑cooled, or heat‑dissipation design environments is an advantage (adapted from liquid-cooled exposure).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and commitment to continuous learning and innovation.
