Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Network Administration
    • Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems.
    • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
    • Collaborate with global teams to support VPNs, SD-WAN, and cloud connectivity.
  • Security Operations
    • Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint protection, and SIEM platforms.
    • Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation activities.
    • Support incident response and forensic investigations.
  • Compliance & Governance
    • Ensure adherence to global cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).
    • Participate in internal and external audits related to IT security and infrastructure.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams, configurations, and security procedures.
    • Provide regular reports on network health, security posture, and incident metrics.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Network Security Engineer should have:Experience:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering and cybersecurity roles, preferably in a manufacturing or regulated industry.



Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols.
  • Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar network/security platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) is a plus.



Certifications (Preferred):

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • Fortinet NSE certifications or Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE
