Job Description

  • Design and implement scalable SaaS and cloud architectures, focusing on IoT and edge-to-cloud telemetry.
  • Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Python frameworks like Flask, Django, and FastAPI.
  • Build and optimize AI platforms and MLOps pipelines for real-time and batch processing.
  • Lead the integration of AWS cloud services into software solutions.
  • Develop and manage REST APIs, real-time streaming, and time-series database solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless development and deployment processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in software and cloud architecture.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Principal Software Engineer should have:

  • Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
  • Experience in full-stack development, including front-end technologies like React.
  • Expertise in software architecture, SaaS, and cloud solutions, particularly on AWS.
  • Knowledge of IoT, edge-to-cloud telemetry, and AI platform development.
  • Familiarity with MLOps, PostgreSQL, time-series databases, and REST APIs.
  • Proven ability to design and implement real-time streaming and batch processing systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in the Technology & Telecoms industry.
