Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Delivery: Ensure the successful completion of cable harness projects within specified timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest levels of quality in cable harness design, manufacturing, and installation to meet industry standards and client requirements.
  • Cost Control: Manage project budgets effectively to minimize costs and maximize profitability while maintaining quality.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks specific to cable harness projects to prevent disruptions and delays.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Establish clear and effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply a deep understanding of cable harness design, manufacturing processes, and industry standards to drive project success.
  • Resource Management: Allocate and manage project resources efficiently, including materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Change Management: Handle changes to project scope, schedule, and specifications while minimizing their impact on project outcomes.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including designs, manufacturing processes, and installation procedures.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, providing direction, guidance, and technical expertise.
  • Client Satisfaction: Ensure that cable harness projects meet or exceed client expectations and result in high levels of client satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
    • Master or specialization in Project Management.
  • Project Management Certification:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI (Project Management Institute) is highly valued.
    • Other relevant certifications include Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PRINCE2, Certified Project Manager (CPM), or Agile certifications.
  • Experience:
    • 7 to 10 proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role.
    • Experience managing projects of various sizes and complexities, with a track record of successful project completion.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
  • Leadership and Management Skills:
    • Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate project teams effectively.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
    • Presentation skills to convey project updates and reports to diverse audiences.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
    • Ability to identify issues, analyze data, and make informed decisions to address project challenges.
    • Strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues as they arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management:
    • Proficiency in identifying project risks and developing risk mitigation strategies.
    • Experience in managing and monitoring risks throughout the project.
  • Budget Management:
    • Financial understanding to create and manage project budgets effectively.
    • Experience in cost control and monitoring project expenditures.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and team members.
    • Skill in managing stakeholder expectations and addressing concerns.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility:
    • Adaptability to handle changes in project scope, schedule, and requirements.
    • Flexibility to adjust plans and strategies as needed to achieve project objectives.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    • Understanding of industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices relevant to cable harness.
