Job Description

  • Analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities in retail banking portfolios, with a focus on unsecured credit.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (Tableau, Qlik Sense, Excel) to support strategic decisions.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines using SQL and ETL technologies to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Apply statistical tools (Python, R, SPSS, SAS) to support risk modeling and portfolio insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable analytics.
  • Lead data initiatives, mentor analysts, and drive strategic improvements in portfolio performance and risk management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Risk Portfolio Lead should have:

  • Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience as a data analyst, with a strong background in managing large-scale unstructured data.
  • Proficient in SQL and ETL scheduling technologies, with working knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Qlik Sense, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Skilled in data analysis tools including Python, R, SPSS, and SAS.
  • Experience in retail banking, particularly in unsecured credit portfolios.
  • Demonstrated leadership in data-driven projects, with the ability to guide teams and influence strategic decision-making through analytics.
