This role acts as a second-level reviewer overseeing accounting accuracy across multiple entities. You will manage junior accountants while supporting senior finance leadership in day-to-day operations.

Our client is an international humanitarian NGO based in Switzerland, focused on protecting civilians from landmines and explosive remnants of war. It supports field operations, risk education, victim assistance, and post‑conflict recovery initiatives.

Job Description

  • Act as a second-level reviewer for accounting outputs
  • Manage and guide entry-level accountants
  • Support the Accounting Supervisor on daily accounting tasks
  • Oversee accounting for more than 10 entities
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting
  • Coordinate regularly with international staff
  • Collaborate with accountants based in Mindanao
  • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Accountant should be:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed
  • Has minimum of 2 years' experience as a CPA
  • Strong attention to detail and review capabilities
  • Experience managing or reviewing junior accountants' outputs
  • Comfortable handling multiple entities simultaneously
  • Confident communicating with local and international teams
