Job Description

Job Description of Senior Accountant

  • Lead full-cycle General Ledger (GL) accounting and financial reporting
  • Manage month-end and year-end close activities with accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare, review, and resolve complex balance sheet reconciliations beyond intercompany transactions
  • Handle intricate accounting transactions and ensure correct application of IFRS or US GAAP
  • Contribute to process improvements and enhancement of internal control frameworks
  • Support local and US tax compliance activities as needed
  • Assist with audit requirements and cross-functional financial inquiries
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders across multiple regions

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Candidate

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy (or a related field)
  • At least 8 years of strong GL and month-end closing experience
  • Background in a multinational corporation or mid-to-large enterprise
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP
  • Exposure to PH and US tax compliance (preferred)
  • Proven ability to handle complex, high-volume reconciliations
  • Experience working with internal controls and structured processes
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
