Job Description

  • Build, enhance and maintain the platform and its products by developing clean, scalable backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and microservice/event‑driven architectures.
  • Collaborate with a distributed cross-functional team.
  • Contribute to code quality through pair programming, pull request reviews, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
  • Design and maintain infrastructure as code to support reliable, scalable backend systems
  • Capable of end-to-end project delivery, mentoring, and driving optimization initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Backend Engineer (NodeJS) should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.
  • Proficiency in NodeJS, Typescript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems and API development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Mentorship experience working and guiding junior colleagues.
