Job Description

  • Lead the design, development and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval for analytics and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related technical issues.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior colleagues while providing opportunities for technical growth and development.
  • Decision-making regarding data system design, architecture, and optimizing strategies.
  • Cross-team collaboration with various teams across the business.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Data Engineer should have:

  • A degree in computer science, Information Technology, or any related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or backend data systems development.
  • Proficiency in ETL tools such as AWS Glue and Azure Data Factory.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in data modelling tools & design.
  • Proven expertise in data engineering tools and technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling and database design.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and big data technologies.
  • Ability to build data solutions at the enterprise scale.
