The client is a leader in the renewable energy space and is currently undergoing a transformation in their finance team.

Job Description

  • Manage project accounting processes, including revenue and cost accounting, variance analysis, reconciliation, and revenue recognition.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor project performance and financial outcomes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to contribute to their migration initiatives, such as process documentation.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of project-related financial transactions.
  • Support audit activities and address any financial discrepancies effectively.
  • Assist in the implementation of financial tools and systems to enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding financial updates and project progress.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in project accounting or related roles.
  • Experience in a global construction, real estate, and Big 4 audit firms is highly beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of project accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate results.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Amenable to work night shift
