Job Description

Product Development & Innovation

  • Lead the development of new formulations across beverages, sauces, and flavor solutions
  • Drive product innovation aligned with market trends and customer requirements
  • Oversee recipe development, testing, validation, and product optimization

Application & Technical Support

  • Lead product demonstrations, customer trials, and application testing in the technical center
  • Collaborate closely with commercial teams to support customer projects and solution development
  • Ensure products meet desired quality, performance, and cost targets

Team Leadership

  • Manage and develop a team of experienced R&D professionals
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and performance management
  • Foster a collaborative, innovation-driven team culture

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales & Marketing to align R&D efforts with business priorities
  • Support customer engagements and co-development initiatives
  • Contribute to strategic planning for product portfolio expansion

R&D Operations & Governance

  • Oversee lab operations, formulation processes, and documentation standards
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and quality requirements
  • Continuously improve R&D processes, timelines, and efficiency



The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior R&D Manager should have:

  • Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • 8-12+ years of experience in food R&D, ideally within beverages, sauces, or flavor systems
  • Strong expertise in formulation, application, and product development
  • Proven experience managing R&D teams or technical groups
  • Strong collaboration skills with commercial teams and external stakeholders
