Develops and maintains internal automation tools, applications, databases, and containerised deployment workflows, while building automated test scripts and user friendly interfaces such as GUIs and dashboards. Works closely with engineering and operations teams on feature rollout and issue resolution, and contributes to code reviews, documentation, user manuals, and training materials following best practices.

Job Description

  • Build and support internal automation tools and applications using Python, Django, Flask, React, CLI tools, Electron, and PyInstaller
  • Design, maintain, and improve backend databases and schemas to meet changing product and operational requirements
  • Develop and enhance automated test and validation scripts for power supply and hardware products
  • Create and maintain user facing tools for internal teams, including GUIs and dashboards
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support feature releases and troubleshoot issues
  • Develop and manage containerised applications and deployment workflows using Docker
  • Take part in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of best practices, including creating user manuals and training materials

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3-7 years experience in Python, JavaScript, HTML
  • Experience in Flask, Django, React
  • Experience in SQL and database design experience
  • Experience in Git
  • Experience in Docker is a plus
  • Experience in communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, Ethernet, UART, Modbus
  • Hardware/software integration familiarity a plus
