Job Description

  • Provide technical support for software applications, ensuring efficient resolution of issues.
  • Monitor application performance and address any disruptions proactively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement updates or enhancements.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of issues, resolutions, and processes.
  • Assist in application testing and deployment activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions.
  • Manage and prioritize support tickets to ensure timely responses.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on application performance.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proficiency in Linux and shell scripting
  • Strong experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2, etc.), including database administration
  • Knowledge of systems administration and IT infrastructure (OS, networking, cloud, containers)
  • Familiarity with Java, Groovy, or any object-oriented programming language
  • Understanding of multi-tier web applications and supporting infrastructure
  • Experience in customer-facing roles and leading escalation calls
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience
