Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer (Platforms) - Digital Bank

Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Engineering & Administration

• Designs, deploys, and maintains enterprise-grade security platforms including:
  • Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point)
  • SIEM (e.g., Splunk)
  • EDR tools (e.g., SentinelOne)
  • PAM solutions (e.g., CyberArk)
• Ensures platform availability, scalability, and performance across production and non-production environments.
• Conducts regular patching, upgrades, and health checks to maintain platform integrity.

Security Operations Support

• Collaborates with SOC and incident response teams to enhance detection and response capabilities.
• Integrates security platforms with other systems such as SOAR, ticketing tools, and threat intelligence feeds.
• Supports forensic investigations by ensuring proper logging, data retention, and access control configurations.

Automation & Optimization

• Develops scripts and automation workflows to streamline platform operations and reduce manual tasks.
• Continuously evaluates platform performance and recommends configuration improvements.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensures platform configurations align with internal security policies and external regulatory requirements (e.g., BSP, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS).
• Participates in internal and external audits, providing evidence of control effectiveness and platform compliance.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

• Maintains comprehensive documentation of platform configurations, procedures, and change logs.
• Provides technical guidance and knowledge transfer to peers and other stakeholders.
